posted on 8/30/12 11:48 AMI'm 46 and I have been riding PP products since the late 70's from Ray Bones Rodriquez, to Cabellero, to Gelfand, to McGill and Jay Smith (my personal favorite... I have big feet!) Currently ride the Skull and Daggers in pools and the new Ray Bones for cruising around the city. Would love this deck to complete my collection! In any event, your products are the epitome of icons!

posted on 9/5/12 8:42 PMI would enjoy having a deck like this one. I am a 42 year old high school art teacher. I skated from teh late 1970s through 1992. First real deck was a Phillip Candoloro Dog Town deck with Road Riders. My first Powell Peralta was a Tony Hawk model with Tracker six-track trucks and Rat BOnes. I went through a lot of Powell Peralta decks and really enjoyed most of them. From Lance Mountains paleo styled ramp models, Caballero's early thin tailed deck and street model ( I had the XT model with the black fiber layers that reminded me a bit of tar paper as the board began to delaminate from rough treatment), and Tommy Guerrero's models were nice for street skating. I think the only boards I didn't have during that era were the McGill and the freestyle decks.
Lately I don't skate often. I just go crusing from time to time. I do take my kids out to skate local ditches. We drag along a shovel and brooms to clean the places up. I get to be the chaueffeur. We all pitch in to get the places ready to skate. - Honestly, I don't really need the deck, but I would skate it if I had it. I don't have my own board, but I ride my oldest son's board from time to time. The kid knows how to do it right. Loosen up those trucks and let it flow.
