We need a skatepark here and this would be a great way to make the people aware of skateboarding and the need for a public skate park.

Theatre: WORLD'S TALLEST VERT WALL (we can cover up the stickers)
We host Steve Caballero, Jeff "Ffej" Hedges, Jordan Richter and quite a few other pro skaters. We were the second stop on the Birdhouse Tour. Its 68000 square feet so there is plenty of room for vendors and whatever else you guys need space for. We have hundreds of loyal visitors but thousands of skaters in the Bay area.
Local Skate Shops: Fishbanks, Vans, Boarder Nation, Ohana, Bella La Vie (Cab and Rachel's shop, NC Boarshop, Zumiez and of course LCRSP's own skate shop "The Shop."
Why: Basically guys, you have absolutely no excuse not to show this film at California's largest skate park, especially when one of our regulars, is in it. Raise a screen if you have to. Just bring it here. We will handle it!!!!!!!

There are a million skateboarders in every direction from here and not to mention, I know some of the greatest ones. We would be honored to have you dudes in our presence, I know this is probably for some mid west kid, but all my friends and I have a great debt to pay you guys for all you've done and there would be nothing cooler than to meet you guys this way. Anywho, even if I don't win I Can't wait for this doc. FINALLY SOMETHING interested...no batman vs spiderman vs iron man...
Ps it would be awesome to hear if anyone from the crew skated Aloha Skatetown in the 70s right here in agoura off Kanan..and maybe ask tony to get his people to recreate it, what a cool park and there's nothing like it around for hundreds of miles...anyways have a great day whoever is reading this.

posted on 8/19/12 7:30 PMI live in Wildwood Crest, NJ. One of 3 towns with the widest beaches on the East Coast. We have a crazy Boardwalk & our hometown gets mobbed in the summertime.
Like any beach town, there is a core of locals that skate & surf & know the low-down.
There are four skate & surf shops on our island.
There is a multiplex called Franks in Rio Grande on the mainland.
There is also a tiny, 30-person mini-theater in the downtown area.
Our island is already a great tourist town for the beach, the boardwalk, water parks and all that, but I think skaters are and always have been a different breed and we need something right up our alley for a change!
If my town gets chosen, our Hallyday-designed concrete park would be a great way to get one of the guys here for an appearance! (or a private session!)
P.S. We have a newly-formed beach department, that is looking into skate, surf, BMX and any other action-sports oriented things to take our town to the next level.
P.P.S. I was honored to meet the Bones Brigade at Savannah Slamma in 1988. Great bunch of guys! Glad to see them still at it!

posted on 8/19/12 7:58 PMAbout 1986 - 87 BB came to Australia's Capital, Canberra. They skated some local drains, a back yard fun pipe. There was also an exhibition at a full ramp and bowl.
The BB members were; Stacey, Tony, Mike, Steve and perhaps Lance or Tommy?
I was thirteen at the time ( now 39 ) and they all signed my McGill deck that I still have.
I have many photos of the boys skating these location.
I was a member of BB and have many mags and posters, patches and stickers. I also have a personal post card written by Tony.

posted on 8/21/12 4:14 PMHello there,my name is Tomas and I'm managing a small distribution company based in Madrid Spain. We'd wish to distribute the film in our contry (theatrically, home video, VoD and TV) in Spanish language and/or in other languages of territory, subtitled or dubbed. We work basically with documentary sport films climbing, snowboarding etc. Before going further we'd need to see the film via watermarked screener or downloable video file. We have to evaluate if it might be of some interest for the exhibitors. Please bear in mind that they are very demanding.
I believe that we have some opportunities in the north of Spain, Basque Country, Santander, Asturias etc. We can take care of your film. We are all pasionate about skating, surfing, wakeboarding (we are all almost 40 and we were all skaters in our childhood Bones Brigade and Powell were part our lifes) but even if we love these kind of production films we have to make a hard work to promote the films we distribute here and convince the exhibitors that the film will be profitable for them somehow.
In case you want to study all the possibilities please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you so much in advance and good luck with this.
Apologies if I have not explained myself properly, I don't have good skills in English language.
